A Miami conference for supporters of President Donald Trump in his upcoming 2020 election campaign was the target of a peculiar “attack”, in which a video showing Trump going on a murderous rampage against Barack Obama, Maxine Waters, Kathy Griffin, John McCain, Rosie O’Donnell, and Joe Biden was played during the event.

The video showed Trump fighting various members of the press, stabbing, and shooting them in footage that many have described as “well-produced.”

Many of the guests at the event were stunned by what they saw, and it was not certain where the video came from initially.

And despite the fact that the event had scheduled appearances by various prominent Trump supporters and campaign members, none of them reportedly managed to see the footage, as they were in a different location at the time it was presented.

Trump himself had not seen the video either, but reports from the White House indicate that he was planning to watch it.

Still, it did not take long for the president’s team to condemn the act, and he did not seem to find the material funny in the slightest.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham took to Twitter to say that Trump is condemning the video: “The video played over the weekend: The @POTUS @realDonaldTrump has not yet seen the video, he will see it shortly, but based upon everything he has heard, he strongly condemns this video.”

It is not known if Trump is planning to take any action against the people who were behind the stunt — if they were identified in the first place.

Jonathan Karl, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, said this on the matter: “The WHCA is horrified by a video reportedly shown over the weekend at a political conference organized by the president’s supporters at the Trump National Doral in Miami. All Americans should condemn this depiction of violence directed toward journalists and the president’s political opponents. We have previously told the president his rhetoric could incite violence. Now we call on him and everybody associated with this conference to denounce this video and affirm that violence has no place in our society.”

For now, the situation has mostly calmed down, but as can be expected, there have been active discussions about the video on social media ever since the news broke out.

This appears to have been at least a minor embarrassment for Trump’s campaign.
