Mike Perry has vowed to leave Darren Till ‘spitting out teeth’ as he revealed what finally happened during the infamous sparring session between the two.
The former welterweight contenders seemed destined to fight each other three years ago when Till knocked out Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in Poland and had a confrontation on the side of the cage.

However, the rivalry between the pair seemed to cool somewhat and they even engaged in a sparring session just six months later to help one another prepare for their respective fights.
Since that day, the Brit has fought for the welterweight title and even headlined a card in London, but has moved up to middleweight and it seems as though the chances of the pair fighting were fully extinguished.
Yet Till’s infamous Scouse humour got somewhat lost in translation on social media, with Perry unaware the 27-year-old was joking with him, rather than poking fun at him. ‘Platinum’ decided to respond in kind and has since unleashed a scorched earth policy on social media aimed at the Englishman, finally divulging what happened in the sparring session.
“You said it years ago Darren Till and you were right,” Perry wrote on Twitter.

“You and me were meant to fight. I’m going up to middleweight and I’ll be small and fast and you’ll be big and slow.
“I’m gonna [sic] ruin your life. You’ll be spitting out teeth much sooner than expected…”
Just days earlier, he wrote: “Y’all talkin [sic] but I’ve busted Darren Till's eye and nose already and I’ve sparred Jon Jones seven rounds years ago.
"I’ve only gotten better. I really do this fighting s*** in real life.
talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy checks out Darren Till’s open workout at the new UFC gym in Nottingham"You internet stalkers make me sick cuz [sic] when you see me in public you don’t say nothing..."
Till is now a top contender at 185lbs and, provided he can get past Jack Hermansson in December, has plans to face either Khamzat Chimaev or Yoel Romero.
In doing so, ‘The Gorilla’ hopes to face champion Israel Adesanya, who described the Brit as ‘beautiful to watch’ in a gushing interview.
